New ways to follow along
B Local Ontario blogs are where we share what's happening across Ontario's B Corp community — advocacy updates, event recaps, member spotlights, and the work of using business as a force for good. We've just made it easier to follow along by subscribing to the blog through a Fediverse app, or through RSS.

You can now follow our blog in two open ways — no account with us required, and no algorithm deciding what you get to see:
- On the Fediverse: follow @news@blocalontario.com from Mastodon or any Fediverse app. Every new post lands in your feed, in order.

New to the Fediverse?
It's the open, community-owned side of social media — thousands of independent servers that all connect to one another, with no single company in charge. A fitting home for a community built on doing business differently.
- Try it out: TheSocialWeb.ca lists Canadian-run servers you can sign up on — a nice way to keep your social home local and community-owned. Once you're in, just search @news@blocalontario.com and hit follow.
- Understand it: fedi.tips is a "non-technical" guide to the Fediverse, but it still sounds like it was written by a techie.

Here's what we're most excited about. Our members are doing remarkable work — and many are telling those stories on their own websites. So we're building a community blog: a single, shared stream that gathers what B Corps across Ontario are publishing — impact stories, milestones, ideas worth spreading — into one place, right here.
Every post will be credited to the member who wrote it and linked back to their own site. It's not our blog talking about members; it's the whole community's voice in one feed — a way to see, at a glance, what the B Corp movement in Ontario is up to.
If you're a member with a blog or news feed, let us know. We'd love to include you when it launches — keep an eye out, and we'll share how to be part of it. We are also happy to help get you started.
Built on Web Village
None of this is bolted on — it comes built in. This site runs on Web Village, a website and software platform made by B Corp Northern Village for mission-driven organizatizations to better communicate the purpose to their constituents and audience.
