B Corp Canadian Climate & Environmental Justice Policy Advocacy Principles
B Lab U.S. & Canada is in the midst of developing policy principles in order to launch climate and environmental advocacy work, and they want your feedback.
B Lab is seeking your feedback and buy-in on the B Corp Canadian Climate & Environmental Policy Principles. You can review the principles here. After reviewing the principles (they are just over a page long), you can sign onto the principles and/or leave feedback in the form. We will be accepting feedback until July 31.
These principles are meant to guide B Lab and B Corps’ climate policy advocacy work in Canada. They were drafted with input from several Canadian B Corp leaders and were modelled after ones developed in the U.S., but differ in key ways that make them relevant to the Canadian context.
After feedback is collected and integrated into the principles, B Lab will begin offering and collaborating on more advocacy opportunities in Canada. We’re excited to take this step towards more active policy advocacy work in Canada!
