Talk to me about your WHY. Why a purpose driven business and why the pursuit of B Corp?
We have designed Unwrapit as a brand activation solution that is a personalized and memorable experience, both for the gift giving company and their recipients. When it’s clear to a procurement team that choosing a platform like Unwrapit simply makes for happier gift recipients (and easier logistics for the business), it should be an easy decision. At that point, the fact that our solution is rooted in sustainability is an amazing added bonus, and we achieve the environmental impact of changing the status quo.
This shift may at first appear minimal on an individual basis. But in the aggregate, the impact adds up to a substantial decrease in physical waste and subsequent emissions saved as well.
Unwrapit prioritized obtaining our BCorp Certification from day one as we felt it was very important to help guide us as we built our business and confirm a commitment to our social impact model.

I think that gift giving holds the power to foster connection, express gratitude, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful moments with both the recipient and the giver. A gift can be used to show someone appreciation, to celebrate a milestone, or to simply let them know they’re valued!
