Brought to you by BDC and Coast Capital.

Featuring: Dr. Katharine Wilkinson, The All We Can Save Project and Charmian Love, Co-Founder and Activist in Residence for B Lab UK. Please share with your employees. Feel free to invite your team & put this in your calendar as the event will not be recorded!

Part 1: Climate

Our B Corp Leaders are some of the most progressive voices for climate action in Canada. Be inspired by their stories, real-life examples and business-to-business advice. With climate justice at the center, we’ll also take steps toward formalizing our Canadian collective action at a national and regional level. Whether you are just starting to look at your low carbon transition or well on your way, collectively, we can create a more inclusive and regenerative economy together.

We have curated incredible speakers that will motivate and inspire you to action! We will be featuring 7 Canadian B Corps in a series of lightning talks around the Circular Economy, Resource Conservation, NetZero2030, Climate Justice, Industry Leadership and Food/Packaging.

To inspire our Canadian B Corp Community we have two leaders centering Climate and Climate Justice in their work with insight on how we are stronger together.

Her books on climate include the new bestseller All We Can Save (2020), The Drawdown Review (2020), the New York Times bestseller Drawdown (2017), and Between God & Green (2012), which The Boston Globe dubbed “a vitally important, even subversive, story.” Dr. Wilkinson co-founded and leads The All We Can Save Project with Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, in support of feminist climate leadership. She also co-hosts the podcast A Matter of Degrees, telling stories for the climate curious with Dr. Leah Stokes.

She speaks widely, including at National Geographic, Skoll World Forum, and the United Nations. Her TED Talk on climate and gender equality has more than 1.9 million views, and she collaborates with Mary Robinson and others to advance the feminist climate renaissance.
